Are you a fan of Tarzan and Jane? The old tale of two jungle people has been told in a variety of different ways, and now it's the inspiration for this imaginative slot. It's displayed on a total of five reels and thirty pay lines. There are numerous bonus features, which I will get into in more detail in a moment. The pay lines are not adjustable, and you land wins when matching symbols appear on an active pay line from the left to the right. Only the highest win on an active pay line is paid out and the maximum obtainable win through this jungle-themed slot is a grand prize of 50,000x your bet per line. There is a bonus wheel, nudge, mystery symbols and a jungle bonus feature.
Basics
As you spin the reels of this slot, a tropical soundscape is heard in the backdrop, which includes tribal sounding drums. You can mute the music if you wish, but I think it enhances the atmosphere personally. The reels are laid against lush greenery. There are tall trees, huge plants and mushrooms growing in the fray. The background is subtle in the way it's animated, you can see some slight movement without it being distracting from the main game board.
Symbols
We all know a wild jungle man cannot feel complete without a stunning jungle-lady with him. Jungle Jack's version of Jane is a blue eyed, blonde woman, and she pays out 600 credits for a match of five and is the highest paying regular symbol. The mustache male pays out 300 credits for a match of five. I'm not sure what his purpose in the story is - but I'm guessing it's to cause trouble for Jungle Jack. The next highest paying symbols are the two camping men who pay out 250 credits for a match of five. Last but not least, the elephant symbol pays out 200 credits for a match of five. The rest of the symbols are all animals!
Special Features
The Jungle Jack symbol is a grouped wild, and he'll swing onto the reels two, three and four. He also operates as a substitute for all other symbols, apart from the scatter symbol. If the scatter symbol pops up on the middle reel, it'll change to the jungle jack symbol before all payouts are award. One scatter symbol in the middle of the third reel will also trigger the Bonus Wheel feature, and the scatter display is depicted as a tribal drum. When you land the Bonus Wheel, the wheel will spin and receive either a Nudge feature, a Mystery Symbol Feature or a Jungle Bonus Feature.
If you land the Nudge Feature, you'll receive 10 free games. When this happens, any wild that appears on the game board will nudge and cover the entire reel. It'll be tangled up in vines until it's broken free. Three extra games are given out if the extra games symbol appears on the first and fifth reel during this feature, and this can only be triggered three times.
The Mystery Symbol feature awards five free games, and during those games the mystery symbol will appear on reels two, three and four every spin. The mystery symbol will reveal a new symbol per free game, and five extra free games are awarded if the extra games symbol appears on reels one and five. The Jungle Bonus Feature awards three re-spins where the Jungle Bonus symbol covers reels two, three and four. if new jungle bonus symbols appear on reels one of five, the number of remaining spins will reset to three.
